Design that has to work, not just look right.
Identity, the website it lives on, and the documents you put in front of a customer. Twenty-one years of running brand and design inside BT, one of the UK’s largest companies, latterly as Head of Brand Management and Design, where work that only looked good did not survive contact with the business.
Four disciplines, one system.
Buy these in four places and keeping them consistent quietly becomes your job. Built as one system, the mark on the sign is the mark in the deck, and the website is already carrying the same rules.
Branding and identity
Logos, identity systems, guidelines. Every decision with a reason behind it, and a system the next person can actually apply.
Web design
Fast, responsive, maintained, and finished when promised. Built to feed whatever runs behind it.
Slideware and sales collateral
Deck templates, pitch documents, sales collateral. Sixty-plus decks delivered, and almost nobody sells this properly.
Print and signage
Brochures, stationery, banners, event and vehicle graphics. The physical end of an identity, produced to spec.
Selected work
Identity, web and print for businesses and public bodies, mostly in North Wales and across the UK.
Print and signage
An identity that only exists on screen is half an identity. Brochures, stationery, exhibition and event graphics, vehicle livery and signage all get produced from the same system, to the same standard, with the artwork set up properly for whoever is printing it.
This is usually the point where a brand falls apart, because the people who designed the logo are not the people preparing the artwork. Here they are the same team.
What this usually includes
- Stationery and business cards
- Brochures and printed sales material
- Exhibition, event and banner graphics
- Signage and vehicle livery
- Artwork setup and print liaison
Describe the job.
Say what you are trying to do. If design alone solves it, that is the answer you get, and if the real problem is the process behind it, you will be told that too.
